Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of this website and set out the basis on which THE SPORTS PARTNER provides its consultancy services. Please read them carefully.
Introduction
THE SPORTS PARTNER is a sports consultancy working across the business of sport. These terms apply to anyone who accesses this website or engages us to provide services.
By using this website you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website. We may revise these terms from time to time and the version shown on this page is the one that applies at the time of your visit.
Use of this website
You may use this website for lawful purposes and for information about our services. You must not misuse the website by introducing viruses, attempting to gain unauthorised access, scraping or harvesting content, or using it in a way that could damage, overload or impair it.
The content on this website is provided for general information and is not advice. It does not amount to a recommendation to act or to refrain from acting. We try to keep the content accurate and current but we give no warranty that it is complete, reliable or up to date.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, design, logos and imagery, is owned by or licensed to THE SPORTS PARTNER. The name THE SPORTS PARTNER and our mark are protected. You may not reproduce, publish or distribute any part of the website without our prior written consent.
Engaging our services
The information on this website about our services is general and is not an offer to provide any specific service. No consultancy engagement is formed by your use of the website or by an enquiry you send to us. A binding engagement only comes into being when we and you sign a separate service agreement.
Where there is any difference between these terms and the terms of a signed service agreement, the service agreement will take priority for the engagement it covers.
Fees and payment
Fees for any work we undertake are set out in the relevant service agreement. Unless stated otherwise, invoices are payable within thirty days of issue. We reserve the right to charge interest on late payment at the rate set out in the service agreement or, where none is stated, at the statutory rate.
Client responsibilities
Clients agree to give us accurate and timely information, to make decisions within agreed timeframes, and to confirm that any person they ask us to deal with has the authority to act for them. We may rely on information and instructions a client gives us without an independent duty to verify them.
Confidentiality
We hold client information in confidence and only use it for the engagement and as the law requires. This duty does not cover information that is already public, that we already held, or that a third party gives us without obligation of confidence.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from our services. Our liability for any single engagement is capped at the level set out in the relevant service agreement and, where none is stated, at the total fees paid for that engagement.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other loss that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Third party links
This website may link to third party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. Any reliance on third party sites is at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date of the most recent change will be reflected on this page and continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them or from the website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
